Ms. Sembrano graduated from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law and received a Juris Doctorate with great distinction. Ms. Sembrano was in the Top 10% of her graduating class and inducted into the Order of the Coif. Ms. Sembrano was on the Dean’s Honor List and was also a recipient of various scholarships, including the Mark & Mona Roberts Labor Law Scholarship. Ms. Sembrano served as a Staff Writer for the Pacific McGeorge Global Business and Development Law Journal and was an active participant in the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, serving as Secretary and then eventually as Co-President. Ms. Sembrano graduated from the University of California, Davis and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with an emphasis on Law and Society.
Ms. Sembrano represents clients on a diverse variety of employment law claims in administrative forums, state court, and federal court. Her wage and hour practice includes issues such as failure to pay overtime; failure to pay minimum wages; failure to provide meal and rest periods or pay compensation in lieu thereof; failure to pay all reimbursement expenses; unlawful deductions; failure to keep accurate time records; failure to keep accurate paystubs; failure to provide paid sick leave; failure to pay all wages upon termination or separation from employment; unfair competition; breach of contract; independent contractor misclassification; salaried misclassification; and others. She has litigated these issues on an individual basis, in the class actions, and in a Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims. In addition, Ms. Sembrano represents clients regarding leaves of absence, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination.

Ms. Sembrano enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog Charlie. She loves playing the piano, which she has been playing since she was approximately ten years old. Ms. Sembrano looks forward to her time at the gym and to playing sports, including tennis and basketball.
